Ballyhea Says No and The Central Bank of Ireland

Directed and edited by Marcus Howard. Members of Ballyhea Says No, Irish European MEPs Luke Ming Flanagan and Nessa Childers, members of the Dail Technical Group and financial experts Stephen Donnelly and Peter Matthews all met with Patrick Honohan, the governor of the Central Bank of Ireland on July 24th 2014 where the Promissory Note bonds were on the agenda. This is something that everyone in Ireland will be paying unless there is a successful challenge to having to pay this odious debt. Patrick Honohan reluctantly agreed to write to the governing council (the ECB) about the group’s request to meet them with the Independent MEPs and TDs but he would not recommend it.

This is another positive step forward in the fight to protect future generations of Irish children from having to pay this debt and the interest on it. Various austerity cuts around Ireland are being implemented in order to pay back the bondholders (cuts to schools, hospitals, stealth taxes etc). Please help share this message as this affects everyone in Ireland.

Conor McGregor the famous Irish mixed martial artist of the UFC also makes an appearance at the end of this video.

Tuam Ireland's Shame Documentary

Directed and edited by Marcus Howard. The Tuam mother and baby scandal is one of the darker chapters of Irish history which has only recently come to light. This independent documentary looks at some of the international media reaction to the Tuam scandal as well as poignant speeches and music from the Justice for the Tuam Babies march and vigil. The names of the 796 babies are also featured. Many groups are calling for an independent investigation which will include Catholic and Protestant mother and baby homes as well as other institutions such as the Magdalene laundries. If you could help get the message out on social media it would be appreciated or even contact your politicians on contact.ie Thank you if you can help.

Moore Street The Last Stand? Documentary

Moore Street The Last Stand?

Directed and edited by Marcus Howard. Moore Street was the last stand of the Volunteers who fought in 1916. Numbers 18 to 19 Moore Street are threatened to be demolished despite some of the rooms in question having historical significance. In place there are plans for yet another shopping centre for Dublin while destroying elements which could have historical and tourism potential for future generations. Interviewees including relatives of those who fought in 1916 are asked about the disputed historical significance of these houses and if they have a message for Minister for Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan.
