Directed and edited by Marcus Howard. This protest against Budget 2014 involved a lot of community and voluntary sector groups as well as groups organised by the Dublin Council of Trade Unions. Interviews included in this video are with Bluebell Community Angling group who work with the elderly, SIPTU,
Wicklow Against Home, Water & Septic Tank Taxes. The ASTI who are fightinhg against education cuts, Seamus MacDonagh of the Dublin Council of Trade Unions, Paddy Connolly of Inclusion Ireland who are part of the National Disability Association , Down Syndrome Ireland and Ireland Autism Action, Alan Lawes, Ken Purcell and others from SIPTU Grassroots, Claiming Our Future, Joe Higgins of The Socialist Party, Joan Collins of the United Left, Memet Uludag of the Socialist Workers Party, David Gibney of Mandate Trade Union, Paul Murphy Socialist Party and MEP, Derek Byrne of Dublin Says No and Rita Fagan. Numerous other groups were also in attendance which you can see in another video on this Youtube channel.This video then highlights some of the more negative aspects of Budget 2014 which are targeting the young, the sick and the elderly.
