Irelands message to ECB for bank debt writeoff

                                                Directed and edited by Marcus Howard

The people of Ballyhea have been marching for 142 weeks to help relieve the Irish people of this burden. They have been to Europe 3 times to find out the best way to negotiate for debt writedown for Ireland. They are asking you to stand with them between 6-10pm on the 27th November outside Government buildings.

How to edit

Film editing is the concept of displaying a combination of film shots in a sequence. This can add an added sense of drama as one shot is instantly replaced with another. Editing can determine the pace and feel of a movie. The process of editing can discover something that may not have been originally intended for the movie. Editing can help transfer film into more than a simple replication of reality. Through close-ups and long distance shots the audience's emotions can be played upon. It can enhance moods and feelings and show different perceptions of characters to give the film segment a greater depth of richness. Edwin Porter was one of the first to discover that the tying together of shots could help create a story.

A selection of commonly used film editing terms are included in this link

Montage consists of a series of shots which are interlinked to reduce time yet give information. The clips are often short yet based around a certain theme with music to evoke emotion yet keep a continuity to the scene. One of the most famous montage uses are from the Rocky series. How to be a film critic

Writing a Review
Before we start, it is important to make this very clear. A review is NOT simply a retelling of a plot of a movie, it is an informed opinion or criticism. You are the person giving the reader an idea of why they should see or buy it.If you are going to approach doing a film review then please consider relevant information such as:

The director-is it a good or bad film?How?Why?How does it compare to their previous work?

Actors-did they play their parts well?

Characters-how believable were they?What kind of characters did they portray?

Plot-does the plot hold your attention or not?Why? Do not give away the ending!!!

Setting-where and when does the story take place?

Genre-what type of film is it? For this type of genre, how would you rate it and why?

Script-Could the script have been improved? is it well written? Were there any memorable quotes?

Please note that it is not simply a retelling of the plot

Ballyhea and Technical Group to ask Irish Government for destruction of Promissory Note bonds

Well done to Ballyhea and Tralee Says NO and to all the members in the Technical Group who are using the Ballyhea proposals to get the Irish Government to destroy the Promissory Note bonds. And fair play to Paula Geraghty for recording this.

98FM/Newstalk were the only other media in attendance.

November 27th 7.30-9pm show them some peaceful support outside the Dáil if you can make it. You really don't have much time left to stop this.

Ireland…The Second Coming…Katy Perry meets WB Yeats

Ireland…The Second Coming…Katy Perry meets WB Yeats

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything

I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.                                                              10
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight

Now I’m floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes
I went from zero, to my own hero

You held me down, but I got up (HEY!)
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up (HEY!)
Get ready ’cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now….There is another way! LOOK!
